Farmazona, S.A., specialized Panamanian company in the handling of cargo to Central America, South America and the Caribbean, with a experience of 44 years, ordered to Conconcreto Internacional the construction of its warehouses in the world-wide well-known Duty Free Zone of Colon.
The work supports the logistic services of Farmazona with warehouses of more than 16,000 m2. in order to safeguard as delicate products as medicines or other type of products that require a special handling or routine.
With the application of Conceptual Design, that contemplates a Autoportable System, conceived and executed by SOBEK S.A. and Conconcreto Internacional, Farmazona managed to increase its levels of efficiency thanks to four characteristics of the constructive system: it is not necessary to construct a previous building to install a warehouse; losses of space are avoided, since the warehouse is projected to adjust the necessary measures; there is a minor cost of investment and minor runtime; finally, it allows the application of different degrees from automatization for a maximum of yield. |
